Doll Tips: big girls

Some cross dressers are thin and petite already, so once they throw on makeup or a mask, they look like a believable girl, however for us bigger girls, this isn't the case.

I know a lot of people have suggested that I wear a corset and I'm not opposed to the idea, however I think that corsets work well for people who are already thin and don't need to do that much to achieve a feminine shape. However, for those of us (myself included) who are stocky and fleshy, corsets don't work well with us. When I use a corset, my mid-section will look great, however above and below the corset looks like a muffin-top, which is not flattering.

So what I do for my body-type to make it more fem are:
1) make my arms smaller and shoulders look less broad. Like wearing the silicone suit with arms for compression, or wear a compression layer under my top or wear an outfit that accentuates my good traits and hides my bad ones (broad shoulders, belly, thick upper arms).
2) I use hip padding to off-set my belly and torso. When in my masculine form (yes, I have a masc video coming out in the future. I don't know if people will love or hate it) I have a belly. When I say this to people who only know me as Anima, they are always surprised, however if you look again at the pictures, I still have a belly.

This picture (above_ somewhat demonstrates how the widening of the hips make the waist look smaller, even though my belly is pushing out, my hip padding is pushing out more, so the effect makes a slimmer looking mid-section. So my love-handles are ultimately lost to the hip padding and actually help accentuate a female physique. So even if you have belly-fat, you can make it work to your advantage as long as you're off-setting it with larger hips.

This one (above) shows a little better how my belly is sticking out, however it is off-set by my butt padding. So from the front, the hips help offset ones body-shape, while from the side the butt will help offset the front-belly-bulge.

It took me many years of testing and trying combinations to ultimately settle on using padding instead of corsets. The answer to your best shape will depend on your body and every body is different, but I just wanted to share my personal experience so it may help another masker or cross-dresser look in the mirror and feel happy with what they see!
